Send - Verify

Sunday, October 30, 2005

Goddamnit! If I'm bad at verifying these confirmation codes then why the hell Yahoo! asks for it every time I try to send an email. Yes try - I actually lost half a dozen emails just by entering wrong verification codes. I admit that I'd not been loyal to Yahoo! but Yahoo! people should care for visually-impaired-slash-abnormal-slash-pathetic people like me. *wink wink* And I boost "I'm techie!"

Honestly speaking, would any sane person like to decipher this weird lingo?

It's absolutely frustating. I haven't been able to send a single email for past 2 days due to this stupid verify send confirmation. I have reported this "bug" on several occasions to Yahoo but they haven't responded to my complaints. It's time to change email account.

I used to just get the verification screen sporadically, which was fine.

But for the last several weeks, I've gotten it for nearly every e-mail!!!

I've written to Yahoo twice, but gotten no response. I've never spammed anyone and never would, yet Yahoo constantly allows lots of really vile spam through their filter. Maybe Yahoo should have to use a verify screen itself?

It used to happen sporadically to me as well, but since yesterday I've been getting the damn things with every email I try to send. I know from past experience that Yahoo's help desk is absolutely worthless. I did find this phone number for them, however: 408-349-3300. I'm calling them tomorrow, and if they don't correct it, it will be time for me to finally start using that dormant GMail account.
